Detroit Decimates Kansas City

Two weeks into the 2011 season, and the upstart Detroit Lions are tied with the Green Bay Packers for first place in the NFC North. The Lions improved their record to 2-0 this past Sunday after a 48 to 3 demolition of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Detroit opened the game with an 80 yard drive, and a touchdown pass from Matt Stafford to Megatron, who is going to have a huge year this season including two touchdown catches Sunday.  The Chiefs answered with a field goal, but were unheard from for the rest of the game, being outscored 41 to nothing.

The Lions fired on all cylinders on Sunday, the question is, was this a product of the talent on Detroit, or the fact that Kansas City is absolutely atrocious. The answer to that question will be answered in the weeks ahead, but for now enjoy it Lions fans.
