The Detroit Lions have a few players who are becoming household names, Matthew Stafford, Ndamukong Suh, and Calvin Johnson. But what a lot of people forget is how efficient and dynamic of a player the young RB, Jahvid Best, was during the six games he played in last season. In the six games he played, Best racked up a total of 677 yards, with 287 of those yards coming from 27 receptions he had out of the backfield. In addition to how productive he was coming out of the backfield, Best was also on pace to be a 1,000 yard rusher.
It is clear that the only major concern with Jahvid Best is his health. Jahvid Best isn’t the biggest back in the league, standing at only 5’10” and 199 pounds, he is always going to be prone to getting dinged up. However, if he can stay relatively healthy and last make it to the end of the 2012 season, expect Best to be one a name you hear a lot, and also expect him to have great fantasy value!
