After two close losses in a row and a head scratcher of a call to go for it on 4th and 1 instead of kicking a field goal in overtime last week, the Lions face an early test in week four. Will they continue their slide to be a dismal 3-1, or can they bounce back and finish the first quarter of the season on a strong note and head into week five with a 2-2 record? Obviously we don’t have the answer, but the Lions need to make some adjustments on defense and figure out how to keep the opponents out of the end zone, they have the 27th ranked defense in the NFL in regards to points per game, giving up over 30 points per game puts a lot of pressure on the offense to carry the team. The Lions offense is extremely explosive, but they shouldn’t need to score more than 40 points to win games. We expect the Lions offense to show up against the Vikings, but the defense will need to make a statement in this NFC North showdown as well.
